    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 23, 1888 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - On Saturday morning, as the first gray streakings of the morning light illuminated the peaceful blue of the eastern horizon, the guardian angel descended and silently bore from our midst the spirit of Mrs. Aroma Blount. For a long time Mrs. Blount has been a silent and patient sufferer from a disease which has baffled the skill of the best medical advice that could be obtained, and although we are pained to learn of her death, we are not surprised. Mrs. Blount was a lady possessed of rare Christian virtues. Ever an affectionate wife, a kind and indulgent parent, and a sympathizing friend and neighbor, she will be missed, not only by her bereaved family, but by a large circle of sorrowing friends. Her Christian example and consistent life will ever be an inspiration to those who knew her, and though she may not be present with us, her influence will continue to guide the lives of those who knew and appreciated her true worth.
