      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 12, 1947 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Funeral services for Preston E. Stacy, 79, who died Tuesday at the home of his son, Ivan Stacy, Old Mexico road, will be held from that home at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. E. S. Beebe, pastor of the Fernwood Methodist church. Burial will be in Willis cemetery. Mr. Stacy was a retired railroad man and farmer and had been making his home with his son for several years since his health had failed. He was born in Oswego November 27, 1868, son of Elbridge and Mary Coon Stacy. Surviving are two sons, Ivan and Lawrence Stacy, Pulaski RFD, two daughters, Mrs. Laura Woods, Fernwood, and Mrs. Leona Stacy, Mexico Point; a sister, Mrs. Nora Edwards, Central Square, and seven grandchildren.
