    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 9, 1908 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - On Monday evening, August 31st, occurred the death of Mrs. Emory Lester, after a painful illness lasting most of the past year. Mrs. Lester’s maiden name was Alice Stevens and she was born in the town of Orwell in 1858. She was left an orphan when eight years of age and at the age of fifteen she was united in marriage with Emory Lester. She died in the Christian faith which was a special comfort to her in the last days of her suffering. She is survived by a husband and five children, Frank, of Baldwinsville, Claude, of Washington, Mrs. George Dingman, Mrs. William Olin and Mrs. Edward Sloper, of Altmar.
