Notes - The funeral of Mrs. Martha Mendell of the town of Amboy, was held at her late home Wednesday, June 9. Rev. A. A. Lawrence officiated. She was eighty-seven years old. She has been an invalid for several years. She is survived by three sons, Henry Mendell of Watertown, Ellis of Idaho, and George, who with a sister lived in the old homestead.
