- Williamstown, Oct 23 - Miss Elnora Stewart died Friday forenoon at her home in this village, after an illness of less than a week with heart trouble.
Miss Stewart was born in Amboy, May 10, 1854, daughter of the late Clark and Eliza Comstock Stewart. She had spent her entire life in this immediate locality. She is survived by her sister, Miss Mary Stewart, with whom she resided, and who is now the last survivor of a family of ten children. She also leaves several nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.
The funeral was held Monday, October 26, 1:30 p.m. from her late home, the Rev. B. A. Belbin of the Methodist church officiating. A grand niece of the deceased, Mrs. Mildred Wagner, and Mrs. Pulver sang a beautiful selection. The bearers were A. D. Harris, Dr. E. L. Simpson, Edward Jenkins and Rowly Nichols, and committal service was conducted at Fairview cemetery. The many beautiful flowers attested to the love and esteem in which Miss Stewart had been held by friends.
The funeral arrangements were in charge of Funeral Director J. Floyd Smith of Camden.
