    • Newspaper Obituary - EDNA I. STEVENS - HOMEMAKER - Watertown Daily Times (NY) - April 3, 2002 - Edna I. Stevens, 47, of 21 Powers Ave., died Tuesday morning at her home, where she had been under the care of Hospice of Oswego County. She had been ill with cancer since February 2000. Born July 6, 1954, in Watertown, daughter of Donald A. and Alice Reed Ackley, she graduated from Belleville Central School in 1973. She married Michael G. Stevens on Feb. 22, 1974, in Adams. They had lived in Lacona since their marriage. Mrs. Stevens enjoyed woodworking crafts. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter and her husband, Tina M. and Scott Hutchinson, Lacona; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Amelia) Russell, Syracuse, and Mrs. Leo (Louise) Russell, Kissimmee, Fla.; two brothers, Donald, Adams, and Clinton, Lorraine, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, with the Rev. Scott R. Hardy, pastor of the Greater Victory Fellowship Church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7145 Henry Clay Blvd., Liverpool, N.Y. 13088-5382.
