Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 29, 1889 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Urania Bartlett whose death was noticed in the News, was born December 23, 1802, being 86 years, 8 months, 23 days old at the time of her death. August 15. 1889. She was married in 1823 to Emory Bartlett, a widower with one child, Jane, who married Henry Lester of Boylston. There were born to her by Mr. Bartlett five children, one son and four daughters, all of whom survive her. Perry Bartlett of Sandy Creek, Mrs. Lyman C. Runyan of Sandy Creek, Mrs. Mary B. Blodgett of Sandy Creek, Mrs. Frances Hudson of Arborville, York count}, Nebraska, and Mrs. Elizabeth Richardson of Sandy Creek. She united with the Baptist church of Sandy Creek, in 1839 and was in constant attendance at its meetings until her death.
