He owned S&E Mobile Home Park, S&E Motors and S&E Paving. He was a member of St. Ann's Church in Parish. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: His wife of 38 years, the former Una Wheelock; three daughters, Susan Peters of Parish, Barbara Evans of Rome and Donna Urban of Pennsylvania; three sons, Ernest and Michael, both of Parish, and Robert of Arizona; 11 grandchildren.
