- Newspaper Obituary - September 10, 1991 Watertown Daily Times- New York - FUNERAL THURSDAY FOR LONNIE RITTER - A prayer service for Lonnie J. Ritter, 25, Plank Road, will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Simpson-Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Evans Mills, with the Rev. Andrew Amyot officiating. Burial will be in Sanford Corners Cemetery. Mr. Ritter died at 8:51 p.m. Sunday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, where he had been a patient for three and a half weeks. His death was attributed to liver failure. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Mercy Center for Health Services, Watertown. Surviving are his mother, Rita Ritter, Calcium; a brother, Timothy J., Calcium; a sister, Mrs. Gary (Cheryl Ann) Fitzgerald, Watertown; two half brothers, Larry Ritter, AuSable Forks, and Gary Ritter, Watertown; a half sister, Cindy Schmit, address unknown; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Mary LaBrie, Calcium, and several nieces and nephews. His father, Marvin Ritter, died March 10, 1980. He was born Feb. 25, 1966, in Watertown, a son of Marvin and Rita LaBrie Ritter. He graduated from Indian River Central School, Philadelphia, and from Jeff-Lewis BOCES, Watertown, as a licensed practical nurse. Mr. Ritter was an LPN at the Madonna Home, Watertown. A marriage to Samantha J. Stewart ended in divorce.
