      Bertha Stevenson Archer, 91, of 265 W. First St., Fulton, formerly of Sandy Creek, died Thursday at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton.

      Mrs. Archer was a homemaker and a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Fulton.

      Born Aug. 14, 1909, in Hastings, she was a daughter of Melvin and Blanche Sharrer Stevenson.

      She married Claude R. Archer on July 16, 1938. The couple resided at Sandy Creek for all of their married life. Mr. Archer died July 17, 1983. Mrs. Archer moved to Fulton in 1985.

      Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Morley, Oswego, and Diane Clark, Lacona; a son, Leon, Fulton; a sister, Pearl Koenig, Texas, 12 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.

      A son, Warren, died before her.

      The funeral was at 11 a.m. Monday at Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

      Arrangements were with Sugar Funeral Home, Fulton.
