    • Newspaper Obituary - March 17, 1952 Syracuse Herald Journal - Mrs. VanWormer Watertown, Dies - Watertown - Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Van Wormer, 52, wife of Ralph Van Wormer, of 643 Mill st., died yesterday at Mercy Hospital of pneumonia, less than two hours after she was admitted. She had been a semi invalid for years, suffering from arthritis, but had been ill with a cold only a few days. She was born at Gouverneur and came to this city with her parents in 1918. Her husband is a machinist at the Bagley & Sewall Company. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Ralp Van Wormer of Watertown and William J. Van Wormer, U.S. Air Force, Fort Walters, Tex; two daughters, Florence Mary Van Womer and Mrs. Robert Bishop, both of Watertown; a brother, Walter Mickens, Gouverneur and two sisters Mrs. Grover Jeffers and Mrs. William Strong of Watertown.
