      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 8, 1974 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski Obituary - Kenneth D. Atkinson, 52, of RD 1, Atkinson Road, Pulaski, died this morning in a Rome area hospital where he had been a patient for seven weeks. He was born October 5, 1921 in the Town of Richland, the son of John and Cassia Joyner Atkinson. He attended Pulaski Academy and married to Elizabeth Baldwin February 14, 1943 at Jamesville. They resided on Atkinson Road for the past 30 years and owned and operated a farm there for a number of years. For the past two years, he was employed by Crouse-Hines Company, Syracuse, as a material handler. He is survived by his wife; one son, William J. Atkinson, Pulaski; four daughters, Mrs. John (Jacquelyn) Burkhard, Mrs. Edward (Linda) Kelley, Miss Janette J. Atkinson, and Miss Sandra Atkinson, all of Pulaski; four grandchildren; two brothers, Carl and Bradford Atkinson, both of Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Barnard, Central Square, and Mrs. George (Gladys) Wadsworth, Pulaski. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at his late residence on Atkinson Road the Rev. Earl D. Langley (retired of Cazenovia) officiating. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery in the Town of Richland. Calling hours begin Friday evening at the Atkinson Road home. The Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, is in charge of arrangements.
