      MEXICO- Mrs. Dorris Nicholson of County Route 41,
      Town of Mexico, died Friday at home following a long illness. A native of Syracuse, Mrs. Nicholson had resided in Mexico most of her life. She was a past district deputy grand matron of OES and past matron of Victorian OES chapter 192, and a member of Fernwood United Methodist Church. Mrs. Nicholson served on the Mexico Election Board for 23 years and was a clerk for the Town of Mexico assessors. She is survived by her husband, Harry L.; two daughters, Mrs. Horace Backus of Mexico and Mrs. Walter Kling of Pulaski; a son, William H. of Mexico and a sister, Mrs. Merwin Smith of Vernon. Burial will be in Mexico Village Cemetery.
