      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 17, 1942 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mexico - Lewis Stoddard, 65, died suddenly at Fernwood village, Wednesday, while in Peters store. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Dr. A. B. Thompson of Pulaski was called. Mr. Stoddard was born on a farm in Fernwood where he spent his entire life. He was the son of Samuel and Lucy Edick Stoddard. Among his survivors are two brothers, George and John of Fernwood. Funeral services will be held from his home, Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ellis Richards will officiate. Burial will be in Willis cemetery. Bearers will be Gerald Hager, Roy Wood, Ray Tubbs and Orin Lake.
