Nicholson, 96, of 27 North Fernwood Road, Pulaski, died Friday at Oswego Hospital. Born on August 12, 1906 in the Town of Richland she was the daughter of Claude and Nila Waite Caulkins. She was a life resident of Pulaski and graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1924 and attended Pulaski Teacher's Training Class of 1925. She married Harold A. Nicholson, he died in April 1972. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for many years and she also taught for several years in the Pulaski School District. She was a member of the Fernwood Grange. She is survived by one son, Hugh C. Nicholson and one daughter, Beverly J. Scott, both of Pulaski, seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fernwood Methodist Church with burial in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. at the Church on County Route 41A, Fernwood. Donations also may be made to the Fernwood Methodist Church.

Dorothy C. Nicholson, 96, of 27 N. Fernwood Road, died Friday at Oswego Hospital.
Mrs. Nicholson was a life resident of Pulaski and taught for several years in the Pulaski school district.
She was a member of Fernwood United Methodist Church and Fernwood Grange.
Born Aug. 12, 1906, in the town of Richland, daughter of Claude and Nila Waite Calkins, she graduated from Pulaski Academy High School in 1924 and Pulaski Teachers Training Class in 1925.
She married Harold A. Nicholson on Aug. 12, 1925, at Fernwood. They owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. Mr. Nicholson died April 14, 1972.
Surviving are a son, Hugh C., and a daughter, Beverly J. Scott, both of Pulaski, seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fernwood United Methodist Church. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood.
A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to Fernwood United Methodist Church.
