Notes - Newspaper Obituary - August 31, 2014 | Watertown Daily Times (NY) - ALBERT V. BODWAY - There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Albert V. Bodway, Jr. of 6704 Erie Canal Road Lowville on Wednesday September 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of TLC Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Bodway died August 28, 2014 after being stricken at a friend's home. He was 58. He was born May 11, 1956 in Watertown, New York, the son of Albert V. and Eliza Orr Bodway, Sr. He graduated from Watertown High School. He married Lorrie A. Weaver on September 19, 1987 in Adams Center, NY. He enjoyed farming and had previously worked for Brookside and Glenwood Cemetery. He retired in 2010 due to an injury. Mr. Bodway also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle with his wife, Lorrie and was a practical joker. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to Hospice of Jefferson County. Surviving besides his wife, Lorrie are his step mother Diane Bodway of Mills River, NC, his two sons and daughter in law Kenneth and Sandi Lance of Adams Center and Albert V. "Bud" Bodway, III of Flat Rock, North Carolina, his four brothers and their spouses Michael and Sandi Bodway of Loris, SC, Stanley Bodway and his companion Steven Dyer of Mills River, NC, Bradford and Terri Bodway of Watertown, NY and Kenneth and Melissa Pearson of Watertown, his two sisters and brother in laws Mrs. Reginald (Vicki) Hayes of Canyon Lake, CA and Mrs. John (Debbie) Collins of Flat Rock, NC, his three grandchildren and his three great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements are with TLC Funeral Home, Inc.
