      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, February 4, 1991 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Mabel E. Barnard Of Mexico Dies At Age 84 - Mabel E. Barnard, 84, Parkview Apartments, died Saturday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Watson Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Central Square. Burial will be in the spring in Daysville Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Surviving are a son, Bruce Atkinson, Syracuse; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild; two brothers, Bradford Atkinson, Port Ontario, and Carl Atkinson, Mannsville; a sister, Gladys Wadsworth, Pulaski; several nieces and nephews. Born August 18, 1906, in the town of Richland, daughter of John and Cassie Gayner Atkinson, she resided in Central Square most of her life. Her husband, Paul Barnard, died before her. Mrs. Barnard was a member of the senior citizens group in Central Square and the Baptist Church of Central Square.
