      Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, January 23, 1965 The Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Mrs. May B. Davis, 71, wife of Arnold V. Davis, of 7433 Salina Street, Pulaski, died early Saturday in an ambulance on the way to University hospital, Syracuse. She was born January 12, 1894, in Fernwood, daughter of William and Ida Chase Nicholson. She was educated in Pulaski Academy and was a graduate of its training class. She was married May 4, 1912 at the Mexico Methodist parsonage and lived all of her life in the Pulaski area. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Miss Evelyn M. Davis, a teacher in Grant Junior High School, Syracuse, and also a member of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl (Florence) Hager of Pulaski and Mrs. N. P. (Esther) LeBeau of Brewerton; two brothers, Harold and Harry Nicholson of Pulaski, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster funeral home here, with the Rev. W. Russell Clark, pastor of Park Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in South Richland cemetery in the spring. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
