      Newspaper Obituary - October 8, 1941 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - William Atkinson, 88, died October 1, 1941, at Mexico. He was born in the town of Richland, son of John and Mary Veril Atkinson, and had been a farmer in the Pulaski area most of his life. At one time he served several terms as Richland highway commissioner. Surviving are a son, John Atkinson of Pulaski; three sisters, Mrs. Milly Jamerson, Mrs. Allie Carl and Mrs. George Dyke, all of Pulaski. Funeral services were held Saturday, with burial in Daysville cemetery.
