      Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday Evening, May 22, 1917 Oswego Daily Times - Oswego, New York - Death of William L. Conant ¬Pulaski, May 22 - In the death of William L. Conant, which occurred Sunday, the town of Richland loses one of its oldest and best known residents. He had been ill more than two months. Mr. Conant was born at Port Ontario, October 23, 1834, and a few years later his parents moved on a farm near Fernwood, where he had since made his home. He was a member of South Richland Grange, Patrons of Husbandry, and one of the most successful farmers in that section. Besides the widow, he is survived by one son, Morris Conant of Fernwood. The funeral will be held from the Baptist church at that place tomorrow at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. J. R. Greene. Interment will be made in the Willis cemetery.
