Mrs. Hannah Cole, a resident of the northwest part of Orwell, died on (Thursday) June 6th, and was buried in the Stevens cemetery on Saturday.

Mrs. Cole was a relict of the late Wm. Cole, who died in 1881. At the time of her death she was 8I years of ago, and had been a very connistent member of the M. E. church at Sandy Creek for over twenty years. She was the mother of eleven children, six of whom are now living. Mrs. Cole was a great student of the bible, having read it through many times. It is said that during her last illness nothing seemed to pacify her like hearing the scriptures read.

Mrs. Cole was a great worker for her family and by her death they lose a kind and loving mother, and the community a sympathizing and obliging neighbor
