Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 14, 1912 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - George W. White - The death of George W. White occurred Wednesday night at the residence of his nephew, George White, on the old White farm in Meacham district. He was born in Millard, Otsego County, May 3, 1833. He has made Pulaski his headquarters for many years and in 18_6 started the work of construction on the village waterworks system, one of the best in the state. More than half a century ago Mr. White was prominently identified with the work in construction with the building of then addition to the Pulaski Court House and of the entire force of mechanics employed there during that period was the last survivor. About ten years ago he constructed the dam and _ in Salmon River at this point. Mr. White never married. He was known all over the state as a contractor. The funeral was held at the home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
