- Obituary of Wayne W. Kaminsky
Wayne “Wayner” W. Kaminsky, age 48, life resident of Altmar, passed away Thursday, unexpectedly at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Wayne was born September 5, 1971 in Oswego, the son of Wayne U. Kaminsky and Lillian Trumble. He attended APW Schools. He was employed by the Town of Albion Highway Department since 1994. Wayne was a member of the DeFiance Fire Department in Altmar since 1990 and a former member of NOCA.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Lillian and Rick Stowell of Altmar, father, Wayne (Gail) Kaminsky of Ilion, two sisters, Betty (Kevin) Balcom of Pulaski and Julie (Ray) Davis of Watertown, companion, Rebecca Stevens of Altmar, two stepchildren, Alex Mills and Erin Bush, two grandchildren, Scarlett and Hudson, and several nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by one sister, Stephanie Stowell Muckey who died in 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 8th, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with spring burial in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funreal home.
