- Mrs. Lillian Winks Skilinski, 39 year old mother of nine children, wife of Joseph Skilinski, died Sunday at her home five miles south of Mexico in the town Of Mexico, after a brief illness. She was born in the town of Palermo, the daughter of Joseph and Ametta Pelow Winks. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, John, Earl and Lewis Skilinski; six daughters, Mrs. Edward MacMann of Baldwinsville, Miss Irene Skilinski of Fulton, and the Misses Helen, Mary, Annabelle, and Ethel Marie Skilinski, who lived at home; a brother, Lewis Winks of West Monroe; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Miner of Fulton, Mrs. Retta Saunders of cato, Mrs. Elmer Morrison of Harrisville and Miss Rose Winks of South Scriba. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the home, the Rev. Harold H. Barnard, pastor of the Mexico First Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. Burial was in Roosevelt cemetery.
