    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 18, 1896 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mr. Sylvanus Parker died in Syracuse, March 16, 1896, aged 67 years. Mr. Parker formerly resided in this place and was well-known and highly respected. He visited his son in Mexico and came to this place for a short stay a little over two weeks ago. He returned to his home where he was soon taken ill, which proved to be his last sickness. It started with a cold and up to last Friday he seemed to improve, but on that day he had a partial shock from which he never recovered. He leaves a wife, and one daughter, Miss Minnie and three sons, Fred, Edward and Henry W. The many friends of the family will sympathize deeply with them in this sad affliction. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 10:30.

      Newspaper Article - Wednesday, March 25, 1896 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Personal - Messrs. Edward, Fred and H. B. Parker, accompanied the remains of their father, Mr. Sylvanus Parker, to this place, Thursday. Interment took place at the cemetery of this village.

      Newspaper Article - Wednesday, May 6, 1896 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Personals - Mrs. S. Parker and her children were here last week Thursday and selected a lot in the village cemetery and buried the remains of Mr. Parker, which were brought here in the winter and placed in the vault.
