- William J. "Jake" Nutting Sr., age 71, life resident of Pulaski and Richland passed away Sunday at his home. He was born October 15, 1942 in Woodville. He attended Pulaski schools. Jake served in the United States Army from 1964 until 1967. He was employed by Gaffney's Lawn Service and Watson's Well Drilling. He was previously employed by the US Postal Service. Jake was a member of the Robert Edwards American Legion Post #358 in Pulaski, NEOSCO Horseshoe Club, and a retired member of the Richland Fire Department. Surviving: three sons, William Nutting and Joseph Nutting, both of Pulaski, John Nutting of Fulton; two daughters, Pamela Roberts of Pulaski and Susan Brown of Parish; one brother, Bruce Nutting of Altmar; seven sisters, Grace Caufield, Joan McNitt, Mary Jane Nutting, Betty Nutting and Darlene Denny, all of Sandy Creek, Barb Lethenon of Palermo, and Joyce Widrick of Adams, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral. Donations may be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice Inc., PO Box 102, Oswego, NY 13126.
