- RETIRED TEACHER ADALINE MORIARTY, 91, DIES

Adaline M. Moriarty, 91, formerly of Jefferson Street, retired teacher, died Thursday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home, Oswego.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. John Hogan officiating. Spring burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery, Dugway.
There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
There are no known survivors. Before Mrs. Moriarty's death, a close friend, Kathleen Minnick, Pulaski, cared for her.
A sister, Mary McKinley, died before her.
Born April 16, 1905, at Albion, daughter of Peter and Lizzie Waugh McKinley, she graduated from Pulaski Academy High School and Fredonia State Teachers College. Mrs. Moriarty resided at Richland and Marathon, retiring in 1970 from the Marathon School District, where she had taught kindergarten and art.
She married Harry Moriarty in 1933. Mr. Moriarty died in 1939.
She was a member of the New York State Retired Teachers Association.
