    • Newspaper Obituary - October 17, 1923 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - William D. Upton, aged about 64 years, a native of Sandy Creek, died at his home near Clayton, Saturday, Oct. 6. The body was brought to Sandy Creek Tuesday where funeral services were conducted in the Methodist Episcopal church and interment made in Woodlawn cemetery. Mr. Upton was the son of David and Lavina Widrig Upton of Sandy Creek. The family resided on the farm now occupied by Mrs. Dora Lillis. Mr. Upton has been a farmer at Clayton the past 17 years. Surviving Mr. Upton is his step-mother, Mrs. Harriet Upton of Clayton.
