Bentley, Mrs. Mary Walworth, in her ninety-fourth year. Mrs. Walworth was the mother of Mrs. A. A. Bentley and the sister of the late William Hale of Sandy Creek.

Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 11, 1888 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In this village, Sunday morning, September 30, 1888, at the residence of her son-in-law, A. A. Bentley, Mary M. Hale, widow of the late D. D. Walworth, aged 93 years and 5 months. The deceased was born in Colerain, Massachusetts. She removed to Sandy Creek in 1818. For the past fifty years she has been a resident of Pulaski, and for twelve years of the time a member of the Sandy Creek M. E. church. Two children survive her, Mrs. Bentley and Charles Walworth, of Pierrepont Manor. The deceased was the oldest of a family of seven children and for years before her death was the last one remaining. Mrs. Walworth retained a great clearness of mind up to the time of her death which was caused by an attack of pneumonia. The funeral was held on Tuesday of last week, Rev. D. D. Owen officiating, and her remains were deposited by the side of those of her husband in Pulaski cemetery.
