    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 28, 1897 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - South Albion - John Bennett, of the Burdick district, passed away on Sunday last at 4 p.m. Mr. Bennett was a former resident of this district and was known as an honest, industrious man, a good neighbor and citizen and a veteran. He came originally from Massachusetts. He died of consumption and was a great sufferer. He leaves a wife and two sons, Charles and Sam, both of Altman.
