    • Newspaper Obituary - Monday, September 28, 1987 Banner Times - Pulaski, New York - Claude A. (Buck) Woolson aged 82, Loomis Road, Pulaski, formerly of Richland died Thursday, September 24, 1987, in the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Syracuse. He was born August 23, 1905 in the town of Orwell, son of Allen and Nina Look Woolson. He attended the town of Orwell district schools and Sandy Creek High School. He was married to Edith Hall. He was a member of the US Coast Guard from 1929 to 1931. He was employed by the Pulaski School District for 30 years, retiring in 1965. For many years he owned and operated a sand and gravel business in Richland, retiring in 1978. He was a former member of the Ringgold Fire Department and the Richland Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, one son, Charles R. Woolson, Pulaski; eight daughters, Mary Anson, Kissimmee, Florida; Janet Schneck, Mannsville; Donna Godfrey, Richland; Millie Skufca, Lacona; Ginny Zehr, Sandy Creek; Gayle Reynolds; Richland; Linda Loomis and Debra Groff both of Pulaski; twenty grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Clinton W. Woolson in 1955. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with Rev. Earl M. Smith, pastor of Park United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery.
