- Oswego Palladium-Times, 17? Mar 1987: HELEN M. HEPLER Pulaski-- Helen M. Hepler, 62, a resident of Melbourne FL and a former resident of Rome NY and Seeber Shores NY, died Monday evening at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne. Mrs. Hepler was born in Pulaski on May 25, 1924 and was the daughter of Everett and Edith (Olin) LaCelle. She was a graduate of Sandy Creek Central School and later attended business school. She married Elmer B. Hepler on March 2, 1945. Mrs. Hepler was employed at Griffiss Air Force Base at Rome NY as a clerk-typist. She retired in 1974 after 20 years of service. She had resided in Rome until 1976, then moving to Melbourne and spent summers at Seeber Shores on Lake Ontario near Pulaski. Mrs. Hepler was a member of the EauGallie Nazarene Church of Melbourne. She was a member of the American Federation of Government Employees and the American Association of Retired Persons. She is survived by her husband, Elmer, of Melbourne; a son, Dennis Hepler of Green Island NY; a daughter, Jeanette C. Ferlow of Rome NY; a sister, Marjorie Elkin of Melbourne; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday... from the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. The Rev. Melvyn S. Connell of the Wesleyan Church of Sandy Creek will officiate. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
