  Wayne “Big Boy” Taplin Sr., 74, a lifelong resident of Richland, passed away Saturday at his home. He was a retired carpenter from Local #747. His wife Sandra “Jean” died Jan. 8, 2013. Survived by a son Wayne “Butch” Taplin Jr. and his wife Sue of Pulaski, a daughter Beth Zayown and her husband John of Pulaski, a brother Wade (Linda) Taplin of North Carolina and 4 grandchildren. Calling hours Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm with service following at Summerville Funeral Home in Sandy Creek. Spring Burial in Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice or Pulaski Sports Booster Club for Baseball Team. Richland, NY (2002)
