- Online Obituary - Robert C. "Bob" Littler, 93, 3232 Genesee St., formerly of 414 Franklin St., Oneida passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at St. Elizabeth's Healthcare Center in Utica. Bob was born on September 10, 1915, in Pulaski, the son of Claude and Bessie Harmon Littler. He was a graduate of Pulaski High School, Class of 1933. On January 2, 1939, Bob was united in marriage to Evelyn Tudman in Worchester, NY. Mrs. Littler passed away on January 11, 2005. Bob was employed by ACME Markets, Inc., in the Buffalo Division, for over forty years, retiring in 1975. Mr. Littler proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy serving from 1943 to 1945. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Oneida. Bob was also an avid bowler and golfer. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Miller, of Oneida; two grandchildren, Stacy, and her husband, Patrick Burns, and Michael J. Ryan, all of Auburn; three great-grandchildren, Irene, Meghan, and Jack Burns; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, February 26, 2009, from the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Elizabeth F. Mowry officiating. Interment will take place in Valley View Cemetery, in the spring where Military Honors will be performed. Family and friends are invited and may call from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Thursday, at the church, corner of Main St. and Grove St., Oneida. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc., 342 Main St., Oneida, New York.
