Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 16, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Frances L. Bentley - Frances L. Carpenter. widow of the late Otis Bennett Bentley, died at the family home on Wednesday afternoon, June 9th. Mrs. Bentley was born in the town of Ohio, Herkimer County, New York March 20, 1833 and was thus little more than seventy-six years of age. Coming to this village in 1849, she had lived here ever since. Mr. Bentley died some ten years ago and a son, John 0., died in 1907. Mrs. Bentley's life for several years past was of necessity confined mainly to her home where she lived quietly with her daughter, Miss Florence E. Bentley, who survives.
