    • Obituary of Thomas Shaw III - Thomas M. Shaw III, age 73, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Sunday at the VA Hospital in Syracuse. Thomas had lived most of his life in Pulaski, but resided in Naples, FL from 1993 to 2001. He was born October 26, 1944 in Syracuse, the son of Thomas and Helen Frank Shaw II. He attended Pulaski Schools and served in the United States Marines. Thomas married Barbara Porter on July 4, 1973 and she passed away February 16, 2001. He was employed Schoeller Technical Papers in Pulaski. Thomas was a member of the VFW Post #7289 in Pulaski and a former member of NOCA. Surviving are three sons, Edwin (Rebecca) Shaw of Box Springs, GA, Dennis M (Amy) Shaw of Mexico, NY, and Timothy (Wendy) Shaw of Naples, FL, his companion, Geri Schultz, his bird, Buddy, four sisters, Linda Zayown of Walton Beach, FL, Judy Bouchard of Lillington, NC, Kathy Torrence of Lorton, VA and Frances Fox of Mexico, two brothers, Merton Shaw of Solvay and Earl Shaw of Richland, his goddaughter, Alicia M. Brown, six grandchildren, Bethany, Travis, Kenzie, Matthew, Elizabeth, and Ashley and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, February 22nd, at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street Pulaski with a spring burial in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, prior to the funeral.
