- Newpaper Obituary - September 21, 1994 Watertown Daily Times - CHARLES WOOLSON, NATIVE OF RICHLAND, DIES - Charles R. Woolson, 57, of 7523 Price Drive, died Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse. He had been ill with diabetes. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St., with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Calling hours were scheduled for 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Pulaski Community Cupboard, 7415 Bridge St., Pulaski, N.Y. 13142. Surviving are his wife, Robin D.; two sons, Dane M., Orwell, and Jeffrey C., Pulaski; eight sisters, Mary Anson, Altmar, Janet Schenek, Kissimmee, Fla., Donna Godfrey and Gayle Reynolds, both of Richland, Millie Skufca, Lacona, Jenny Zehr, Sandy Creek, and Linda Loomis and Deborah Teachout, both of Pulaski; and several nephews and nieces. Born in Richland on Dec. 17, 1936, a son of Claude and Edith Hall Woolson, he was a 1955 graduate of Pulaski Academy High School. He married Robin D. Hutchins on July 26, 1958. Mr. Woolson was an Army veteran and was employed with General Electric Corp., Syracuse, for 18 years and retired from General Motors Corp., Syracuse, in 1989, after 14 years. He was a member of Park United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 415 F&AM, Robert Edwards Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 358 and United Auto Workers Local 854. He was a former member of the Orwell and Pulaski volunteer fire departments.

He retired in 1989 after 14 years with General Motors Corp., Syracuse, and previously was employed 18 years with General Electric Co., Syracuse. He was a 1955 graduate of Pulaski Academy High School. Mr. Woolson was a member of Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski Lodge 415, F&AM, and Local 854, United Auto Workers. He was a former member of the Orwell and Pulaski fire departments. An Army veteran, Mr. Woolson was a member of Robert Edwards Post 358, American Legion.
