      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 25, 1947 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Services Friday for Mrs. Grace Peck - Mrs. Grace Porter Peck, 76, died Wednesday morning, September 24, at the Crouse-Irving hospital where she was a patient for 10 days, following an illness of two months. Mrs. Peck was born in Buffalo on May 10, 1871. She was the wife of the late Allen Peck and lived in Pulaski for many years where Mr. Peck was employed as manager of the Telephone Company and operator of Western Union. Mr. Peck died in 1923, after which Mrs. Peck moved to Syracuse where she was employed in the Secolia Secretarial school. She was also employed in Pottstown, Pennsylvania for the Y.W.C.A. and later was a matron for a children's home in Batavia, New York, for eight years. Following her retirement, she returned to Pulaski. There are no known survivors. Services in charge of the Taylor funeral home will be held at the Congregational church on Friday at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Albert Hoag of the Pulaski Episcopal church officiating. Interment will be in the Pulaski cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience.
