Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 30, 1961 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. LaCelle Rites Friday - Funeral services for Mrs. Edith LaCelle, 60, who died in the Oswego Hospital, Tuesday, will be conducted at the Foster Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bernard Draper, pastor of the Sandy Creek Wesleyan Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today (Thursday) 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Surviving are her husband, Everett LaCelle; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Marjorie) Elkin of Orwell, and Mrs. Elmer (Helen) Hepler of Rome; a son, Charles LaCelle of Orwell; one sister, Mrs. Lynn (Ella) Phillips of Pulaski RD; four brothers, Floyd Olin of Lowville, Delbert Olin of Vorea, Raymond and Clyde Olin of Orwell and nine grandchildren. Mrs. LaCelle was born at Orwell on September 25, 1901, the daughter of Louis and Mary Looker Olin. She attended Orwell school and was married to Mr. LaCelle at Clinton on October 25, 1919. They resided in Pulaski until 1931 when they purchased a farm in Orwell where they lived until three years ago when they moved to their present home at Centerville. She was a past president of the auxiliary of Robert Edwards Post, 358, American Legion and a past member of the Orwell Grange. She attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church at Sandy Creek.
