    • John Marvin Stevens - January 27, 1837 - January 8, 1914. Son of Myron H. and Sarah Ann Rima Stevens. Husband of Esther Amy Stowell Stevens. Married November 20, 1859 in Orwell Township, Oswego County, New York.

      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 14, 1914 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - John M. Stevens died Thursday afternoon, January 8, after several months of illness from Bright’s disease, aged 78 years. He is survived by his widow, three sons, three daughters and several grandchildren. The funeral services were conducted in the church Sunday afternoon by Rev. T. T. Davies, burial in Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Stevens was a charter member of Orwell Grange No. 66, which was organized in 1872, and has always been faithful in attendance until a few years since, when prevented by failing health. Relatives from out of town who attended the funeral were Ernest Stevens of Watertown, Mrs. Edith Matteson and daughter, Miss Hazel Matteson, Miss Audrey [line unreadable] Mrs. Myra Potter of Syracuse, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Salisbury of Lacona.
