    • Obituary of Joan F. Trumble

Joan F. Trumble, age 81, resident of Altmar for the past 50 years, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, December 29th. Joan was born September 16, 1940, in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Orlando and Catherine Baublitz Rich. She graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1958. Joan was married to Michael J. Trumble on December 3, 1969. She was employed by Community Bank in Pulaski for ten years. She also served as Albion Town Supervisor and worked at the Pulaski High School as a secretary.

Joan was very gifted she could paint and carve stunning pieces. She had a passion for crocheting (which she referred to as hooking), creating beautiful blankets and doilies for her family and friends. She will be remembered for being kindhearted, loving nature, having an extremely funny sense of humor, and an amazing love of animals. Mostly, she will be remembered for the way she loved and cherished her family and being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who brought such happiness to all our lives. We will miss her words of wisdom, homemade donuts, and apple pie but we will carry all the wonderful memories she created in our hearts.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years Michael, four children: Michael Trumble (Melissa Kowanes) of Parish, NY, Deborah Carpenter (Bill Beach) of Adams, NY Kevin Trumble of Altmar, NY, Shannon (Scott) Phillips of Dexter, NY, six grandchildren: Christopher, Andrew, Samuel, Katelyn, Jeffrey and Meaghan; seven great-grandchildren: Evan, Alyssa, Kristen, Ashley, Jaxson, Vanessa and Whitney; and very dear friends Jim and Mary Wheeler of Altmar, NY.
