    • David D. West - October 26, 1817 - March 16, 1902. Son of Ira and Lucy Curtis West. Husband of Ada H. Burch West. Married February 14, 1842 in New York State.
      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 19, 1902 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Mr. David West, one of the pioneers of Orwell, died at his home near Stillwater, Sunday, aged 84 years. He has always been in good health until the past three years, since which time he has been gradually failing. He has always lived on the farm which he purchased when he came to this town. He has been kindly cared for by his son, Hubert West and wife, for many years. His wife died about fifteen years ago. His funeral was held at his late home on Tuesday. Burial at Evergreen cemetery in this village.

      Newspaper Article - Wednesday, November 7, 1900 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Molino - David West, of Stillwater, was somewhat stupised the 23rd of October, his 83rd birthday, when his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, about thirty in number, made him a pleasant afternoon call. Oysters and other refreshments were served and a pleasant time enjoyed by all.
