Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 29, 1965 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - K. West, 38, Rites Are Held - Kenneth E. West, 38, of Baldwinsville, died Sunday enroute to a hospital. He had been in ill health the past five years. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Jack, pastor of the Baldwinsville Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery at Orwell. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Wing West; two daughters, Mrs. David (Constance) Miller of Baldwinsville and Sheila, 11, at home; five sons, Kenneth, Jr. 16, Arnold 15, Ronald 13, Donald 12, and Dale 4, all at home; his father, Hiram West of Redfield; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Potter and Mrs. Doris Waggoner both of Richland, and Mrs. Genevieve Daniels of Liverpool; six brothers, Raymond of Warners, Stanley of Liverpool, Clifford of West Monroe, Floyd of Baldwinsville, Edwin of Central Square and Bertram of Wapato, Washington. Mr. West was born at Mallory on March 5, 1927, the son of Hiram and Catherine Bush West. He had resided in Baldwinsville the past six years and previous to that in Brewerton. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and was married to Miss Betty Wing in 1947. He was a roofing and siding applicator.
