Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 14, 1991 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Crash Victim Charlotte Wheeler’s Rites Set - Services for Charlotte A. Wheeler, 37, Route 13, Williamstown, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Maynard officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Miss Wheeler died Tuesday at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse from injuries she received November 7 in a two-car collision on an icy bridge spanning Interstate 81 in Pulaski. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Northern Oswego County Ambulance Fund. Surviving are a son, Andrew K., Williamstown; her parents, Kenneth and Mildred Wheeler, Williamstown; three brothers, Kenneth Jr., Altmar, William E., Sodus, and Herbert J., who is stationed with the Army in Germany; three sisters, Josephine Van Winkle, Peggy J. Kennedy and Janice L. Oakes, all of Williamstown; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Two sisters, Doris and Joyce Wheeler, died before her. Born October 30, 1954, in Syracuse, she was a 1972 graduate of Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School and was a life-long resident of the Williamstown area. She was employed 13 years by Northland Associates, Liverpool, and was previously employed by Brace, Mueller and Huntley in East Syracuse. Miss Wheeler was a member of the Syracuse chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction.
