Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 15, 1960 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Today for Guy E. Stevens - Guy E. Stevens, Sr., 34, died at his home in Orwell on Monday. He had been ill more than a year. Funeral services will be conducted from the Brown Funeral Home in Altmar Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Murphy of the Orwell Union Church officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Orwell, with military rites by Robert Edwards Post of Pulaski. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Carrie Stevens of Orwell; his wife, Mrs. Eldora Thomas Stevens; four children, Linda, Rita, Guy, Jr., and Terry; four brothers, Ralph, William, Robert and Phineas, Jr., of Orwell. Mr. Stevens was born in the Town of Richland on June 21, 1926, the son of Carrie DeLapp Stevens and the late Phineas Stevens. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served 12 years.
