    • Frances L. Towle Stevens - December, 1869 - July 21, 1900. Daughter of William Riley and Patience Baker Towle. Wife of Ralph LeRoy Stevens.

      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 25, 1900 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - The community was very much shocked last Saturday evening by the sudden death of Mrs. Ralph Stevens at home about eight o'clock, with heart failure. She was in usual health, had been about her household duties during the day and had made a number of calls. She experienced a severe pain in the region of her heart and as Dr. Nelson had called to leave her medicine, which she had been taking for several months, she received the best possible attention but in a short time she died. She leaves her husband and two sons, aged seven and three. She was a bright, intelligent woman, about thirty-one years of age. Her funeral was held at her home on East Main street, Monday afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. W. H. Seed. The Odd Fellows and the Rebekahs attended in a body.
