      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 14, 1946 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Nellie Stevens Services Saturday Mrs. Nellie Baker Stevens, 94 years of age and widowed love Rufus Stevens passed away yesterday morning in Richland. Mrs. Stevens had been a patient about ten days in the Mrs. Ida Ashcraft nursing home. Mrs. Stevens suffered a fractured hip February 3. She was born in Prattham June 15, 1851, daughter of James and Sarah Webber Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Stevens celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary November 2, 1919. Mr. Stevens died August 3, 1920. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Carpenter of Orwell and Mrs. Frederick A. Hallenbeck of Norfolk, Virginia, also seven grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Foster funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald M. Cobb officiating and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Orwell.
