Son of Phineas LeRoy “Finn” and Carrie E. DeLapp Stevens. Husband of Mary Lou Markin Stevens. Married May 15, 1937 in Rome, Oneida County, New York.

      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, January 18, 1988 Banner Times - Pulaski, New York - Ralph L. Stevens - A memorial service for Ralph L. Stevens, 70, of Main Street, Orwell, who died Friday, January 8, 1988 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Syracuse, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Orwell United Methodist Church. The Rev. Janet Gibbs and the Rev. Raymond McVey officiated. He was born April 25, 1917, in Waterville, the son of the late Phineas and Carrie DeLapp Stevens. Surviving are his wife, Mary; three daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Patricia) Haines of Orwell, Mrs. Glen (Mary Lou) Rylott of Sandy Creek and Mrs. Steve (Barbara) Pisik of Orwell; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert of Syracuse, Phineas “Junior” of Cicero and William of Mexico; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Stevens donated his body to the department of anatomy at University Hospital for medical research. Summerville Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
