Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 7, 1948 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Services Held for Arthur Balch, Richland - Funeral services were conducted for Arthur Balch, 75, Richland, at 2 p.m. Monday from the home of his son, Clinton Balch, by Rev. Harold Barnard, former pastor of the Richland Methodist church. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery in Orwell. He is survived by two sons, Clinton of Richland, at whose home he died Friday night and Russell Balch, Mexico; six grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Mr. Balch was born in Orwell November 3, 1872, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Balch, and had made his home in the vicinity of Orwell and Richland all his life. He was engaged in farming and had worked in woodworking shops in that locality, from time to time.
