Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 25, 1979 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mary Clotfelter, 49 - Mrs. Mary Louise Carpenter Clotfelter, 49, of 1412 Fern Place, Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Pulaski, died Thursday evening, April 19, 1979, at the Lakeland General Hospital. A native of the Orwell section, she resided in the Pulaski vicinity until moving to Florida 30 years ago. She was a secretary for a credit union in Lakeland. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Lakeland. She is survived by a son, Gary Blankenship, Lakeland; a daughter, Mrs. Denise Gaston, Mulberry, Florida; her mother, Mrs. Gladys Carpenter, Lakeland; her grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Carpenter, Lakeland, and a brother, Frederick Carpenter, Miami, Florida. Graveside services were Monday at Orwell Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Tanner, pastor, Orwell Union Church, officiating. Arrangements were with the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski.
